(no subject)

Had Mom's entire side of the extended family over yesterday. Aunt Allison brought a box of Dunkin Donuts, and I had one for myself. Everyone watched a few movies on TV most of the time before dinner, but also opened up presents that we put under the tree for them. I got a few Christmas cards, one of which was a Simpsons card with Moe filling up a beer, with his head as a cutout on a spring. (It says "Consider this a coupon for ONE FREE beer.*" on the front, and then on the inside, it says "*OFFER VOID on days ending in 'y'.")

Mom told me that we'll pick out an anime DVD later in the week, but I told her that I thought it was gonna be a surprise. She had forgotten about that.

We all ate dinner together, and Brian's girlfriend Amy also came over to eat with us. For dessert, we had a bunch of cakes. Aunt Allison even brought a lemon-strawberry cake for me, but I was only able to eat a Napoleon and a cheesecake pastry.
