Had an appointment with Dr. Perret last night. I didn't have a whole lot to talk about, but I did tell him that Jake asked why I plan on writing fanfiction if character development isn't one of my strong points. I told him that when I think about fanfiction, I focus mostly on the overall plot, rather than other things like characters or scene details. He did seem to agree with me, that any given person is stronger in one area than in another, and this is also why people collaborate.
I will not lie, a good number of the biographies for the non-canon Knights in Monster Collection Chronicles have been derived from .hack New World. However, some of those in question have been slightly modified from the source material, and the entire roster has been considerably more manageable ever since I dropped twelve of the original twenty-four of them. Dr. Perret also agreed with my deriving these personalities, just like anyone would with getting plot ideas from existing stories instead of thinking them up from scratch.
In any case, let's analyze each of the eleven non-canon Knights:
Katsuo: My own creation, completely.
Ryo: (Couldn't find this right now.)

As of right now, I would like Jake's help modifying them as he would see fit. However, that can wait until I've completed something that he has requested of me. Hopefully, he will be a better enough mood to take care of it.
