Just watched Same movie, different formats yesterday, the last video in a mini-series by James Rolfe about different obsolete video formats. Worth commenting on here is that Rolfe stated that It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World happens to be his #1 favorite movie. A coincidence, since Dad also happens to like that movie, even though I've only seen him watch it twice before.

Also worth noting is his Laserdisc video. Previously, I thought that CDs and laserdisks were the same thing, and referred to the latter as the format used by such pre-DVD game consoles as the PC-FX (January 5, 2009) and the Playstation (in my PS3 report, which was mentioned on April 29, 2009). As it turns out, that was a mistake.

Unless she backed out after speaking to Dad, Mom has decided to disconnect the phone and downgrade the cable in this house. From now on, when Mom and Dad are at work, we're gonna communicate with them through cell phones. (What used to be this house phone number is now going to be her cell number.)

Mom and I went to Target, the barber shop, and the DMV yesterday. I should have mentioned this last summer, but one time when I was at the hospital, I went to the bank there, showed them my Learner's Permit as a form of ID, and someone told me it had expired. I let Mom know, and had Vincent drive me to pick up a driving manual. But anyway, I took the written test, and it wasn't that hard at all. Only got three answers wrong, so now I'm able to drive again.
