Apr. 14th, 2010 06:00 amTwo nights ago, I was laughing so hard about the current Penny Arcade strip at the time, that Mom and Dad told me to quiet down. (They usually get annoyed when I laugh as hard as possible, and tell me that I'd make a fool of myself if I did it in public.) Mom asked me what was so funny, and I told her about the strip. She asked me to show it to her when Dad comes off, but I then forgot about it until just last night.

While Mom was having a look at it, Dad was just across the room playing the drums, and he became interested. He read the strip, and asked me what the point of the joke was. ( Want the joke explained? )
Well, he found that one pretty funny, so I offered to bookmark the first strip for him. I also warned him about 1) the smutty humor in a lot of the earlier strips (not so common nowadays), and 2) that most of the series is video game oriented. For the former, I thought that that was why he doesn't like Family Guy, but he told me that the deal with that is actually the characters' attitudes in that show. He didn't really care about the latter, and I left a note by the computer advising him to bookmark each strip where he leaves off, since the website no longer has a list for an archive.
