Sep. 1st, 2010 07:59 amSent back: Princess Tutu, disk 2
Received yesterday: Pani Poni Dash, disk 1, and Clannad, disk 1.
Dad took Mom to his high school reunion the other night. The two of them met some of the faculty from my old schools, such as Mrs. Manella (my Special Ed counselor from 2nd grade) and Mr. Verdi (principal of Longwood Middle School since 1998/99). They told them about me having graduated from Dowling and being all set to seek a job, and they in turn commented that they were proud of me for having finished college.
Mowed Mrs. Schwartz's lawn again two days ago. She came to our door yesterday and paid me another $40 for my work, and also told us that her husband got a heart transplant or something. Afterwards, she drove back to the hospital where her husband currently is, and me and Mom started weeding her sideyard and doing some stuff there.
Mom and Dad have gone to visit Marie, who now goes to school at Simmons University at Boston and lives in a dorm there, and to drop off all her furniture and other belongings. They won't be home until tonight.
