Okay, so yesterday was a bit rushed, but over the past week, quite a handful of stuff had happened while my online activity was down.
YouTube:
Got two comments from the same person, one on MMZ cutscene #16 asking which console the game is for, and the other on part 1 of the Makendou OAV asking for the name of the opening theme.
DeviantArt:
Six new posts for Rokumon Tengai (a Mon Colle Knights community). One of these is an art exchange, which I read first before reading how it works. Having read that first, I initially assumed that it was just another place to request artwork, but then I read that it's actually meant to be mutual for everyone.
Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be joining, because I lack the willpower to keep up with requests made by people. I remember a few years ago, Jake made a whole bunch of pic requests upon me, and the only one I ever got around to was Mai, with a large, cone-shaped nose (since I was able to just modify a screenshot I found somewhere for it, rather than drawing something from scratch). Even just a few months ago or something, he had requested an Ellen pic from me, and I still have yet to get around to it. Anything I draw for myself is enough of a hassle for me, and even when I get critique, I lack the willpower to do it over right away.
To me, the whole point of making requests in the first place is to save myself the time and effort of drawing something myself, and also to see if someone is able to draw it better than I can. Therefore, I'm likely better off just paying someone to draw something for me.
In short, I'm just not cut out for Art Colle Knights.
Penny Arcade:
Three strips accumulated when I checked yesterday morning, followed by another one later on. At this point, though, I think I'm already losing interest in the strip. There have been times when I would forget to check it until later in the day; there's a sign right there.
For the record, Melissa told me she hadn't read PA in a while during our conversation at Starbucks, Jake has no interest in it, and considering that Dad didn't get the first couple of strips in the series when I showed him, I don't think Chelle would either. But in case anyone's interested, here's the first strip:

Also, in case I ever decide to come back to it, here's where I'm leaving off:

Don't worry. Tycho is still gonna remain as one of my userpics. And I still enjoy the hell out of:
The Angry Video Game Nerd:
A video clip about the in-progress AVGN movie:

Even though I normally don't like movies, being the AVGN fan that I am, I would definitely give this one a try. Probably better to wait until it comes out on DVD, since if it does come out in theaters, it wouldn't be something my family would want to see.
Real life:
Occurred to me the other day that, with the sheer amount of money I got for graduation, I might have enough now to invest in a new laptop. Spoke about it with Mom, and she and I agreed that maybe we should speak to Brian about what I should do first, since he knows a lot about computers.
Once I do get a new laptop, that will free me from having to share our main computer with Mom and Dad. If there is a problem, though, I'll still be able to use that one and hopefully have Brian fix mine ASAP.
