Oct. 7th, 2010 06:19 amDad actually brought his scanner home from his shop to install on our computer yesterday. Got my pic scanned, but went through some trial and error because, at first, it wasn't recognizing anything above Rokuna's head. Me and Mom shortly found out after trying a little trick, that it wasn't recognizing it because it was all blue.
If this ever happens again, all I really gotta do is draw a black line at the edge of the page that's not being scanned.
Anyway, here's the pic:

Dad tuned into last night's episode of The Simpsons more than five minutes into the show. This episode was about Homer pursuing Rich Texan down the road for something he must have done before Dad turned the TV on, and Marge, Lisa, and Bart each tell him a story about revenge and how it yields nothing positive for the person seeking it.
What's interesting about that, is that only a minute after Mom came home from work earlier on, I brought up that whole Dowling issue for the first time since only my last visit to Dr. Perret, and a few things about it that still piss me off. If I didn't have such big plans for life as Monster Collection Chronicles, Retro Savior, and the Makendou dubbing project... well, you don't want to know what I'd do if that were the case.

Last night, Mom was looking around for Mabel while Dad drove the van to Home Depot. It turned out that the cat had been trapped inside the van from earlier on, so she ended up coming with him there. Pretty funny, and it's a good thing she didn't escape into the parking lot, although Dad said she wasn't exactly thrilled about such a ride.
