Dec. 21st, 2010 07:44 amAccording to Bulbanews, GameStop is going to host three Pokemon events during the following month, for Raikou (Jan. 3-9), Entei (Jan. 17-23), and Suicune (Jan. 31 to Feb. 6). Considering that each event since the release of Platinum has had a pattern of taking place in Japan, North America, and then Europe (save for a few events in South Korea and maybe elsewhere), it comes as no surprise that events are still being held for the Gen IV games, and one can very well expect Celebi to be distributed here shortly after the aforementioned three events end.

That said, I still gotta make sure my Action Replay is safe enough to use for when I start playing HeartGold. Got very little to lose on Diamond, so I'm gonna try creating the Azure Flute on that game with it. If it deletes my data, then the only problem will be starting over and beating Roark before we visit Mom's family in New Jersey. (I will still hack all event-only items when I start playing a second copy of Diamond, Pearl, or Platinum, after starting part IV of Parasitic Trio.)

Asked on Bulbagarden Forums not too long ago to see if anyone besides Jake would be interested in helping me make up stuff to happen in Parasitic Trio. So far, Sith Droideka, who ironically didn't seem like a good candidate at first, had taken the time to write up a sample prologue, as well as critiquing what I have already outlined. I showed the prologue and all his con-crit to Jake, and while we still have yet to talk about the latter, he did point out a few things about the former.

This prologue is not gonna count as having actually "started" the ficseries. That is to say, it's not grounds enough to start playing Blue. I would still like to complete Diamond, Battle Revolution, HeartGold, and Platinum before I get started with the main story, so as to buy time for the ficseries to keep developing.
