Dec. 25th, 2010 04:45 amMarie had the day off from babysitting yesterday. She and Dad went to Borders for a bit, and came home with a box of Dunkin' Donuts. I had a Boston cream one right when they came home, and then another one a few hours later.
Mom got home from work early yesterday, and made some chicken-and-star soup. I had a bowl of it, but it was lukewarm.
Everyone watched various things on TV while we were all gathered around. I, however, got started with yet another PAL Park spreadsheet, since I've decided that when I do it for real in Parasitic Trio, it's gonna consist of a lot more than getting a single random number off of RandomInteger for everyone's scores.
Some time before we ate dinner, Mom had me blow up balloons while Dad was on the computer. While I was at it, I filled two of them with water. The first one, I didn't think was large enough, so I blew up a second one, let the air out, and then filled it up before putting it in the freezer. After that, I took the first one, thought of what I should throw it at (not Mom, because she'd get mad), decided on the car, and it bounced off the roof and splatted near some small bushes near the tenants' part of the driveway.
(I also suggested touching a balloon on a flame to see if it the remains would stay burning. However, Mom and Marie told me that it would only pop and shrivel.)

It has been exactly 574 weeks (11 years) since me and Brian got Pokemon Red and Blue respectively, along with the Game Boy Color. Back then, it was Saturday of the best in a 6-week-period, eighteen weeks apart from the best in either 36-week-period it was between ("It's been a great week! Now let's see the aftermath."). This year, it's sixteen weeks after the best in the 36-week-period ("We're getting to the good week.").
Also, I found our copy of Opus: 25 Years of His Sunday Best just the other day, which someone got for Dad five years ago. I thought we had given that one to Grandpa Bob, along with some of our other Bloom County books that I had gotten Dad a year later. But, it turned up in Marie's room, and since I found it, I decided to take a picture of that strip I mentioned the other day. (And, my mistake the other day; it was Opus, Milo, Portnoy, and Michael.)
