Mar. 2nd, 2011 07:34 amDidn't test out that device or write any more of the MCC prologue yesterday, since my shoulder was hurting. Mom told me to take two Ibuprofen tablets every four hours, and that might have been making me tired. Did saw up part of that fallen tree into segments for Dad, but then Mom told me to leave it alone and take it easy. Also decided to finally give Getter Love!! a rest for the time being.
Watched the remaining two episodes of Chrono Crusade, disk 1, so I asked Mom if we'd be going to the library where I could return both DVDs I had out and order the Lucky Star manga and all those DVDs I have in my Netflix queue. She told me that I can actually take care of that online. Did manage to order a complete DVD set of Azumanga Daioh from another library, but that's all I was able to request online. (I did request volume 1 of the Lucky Star manga at the reference desk when we were at the library.)
The fact that I was only able to request one item from another library actually makes things a bit more interesting, in that it's a gamble seeing what and how many items you can get in any given set. While we were going for a walk, I asked Mom if she ever gets that feeling. She told me that what I'm describing sounds familiar. The example she used was when she looked for Rupert books on Ebay, hoping to see what she could get her hands on; as it turned out, though, they were all available on the site, and that kinda took the fun out of it.
There is more than one example from my own life I could name, but the one I'm gonna use, given how recent it is, is about the giantess pics that I have commissioned for. The choices were as follows:
1) Rokuna (Mon Colle Knights)
2) Haruhi (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya)
3) Saga (A Little Snow Fairy Sugar)
4) Any of the main characters from Galaxy Angel
Here's what's come up so far:

Another question might arise from all this: What exactly makes me decide to include these girls and no one else? Simple: It's all random. It's as random as what I decide to rent from Netflix, and I'm obviously not gonna go out of my way to make a list of every female anime character viable. For beehives, even though characters like Becky and Rei from Pani Poni Dash would be viable, the only characters I've been interested in so far were the Sailor Senshi, the Lucky Star girls, and Hatsune Miku (and I still have to request Mai and Hikari Tsurugino at some point). I am also currently interested in a cone-nosed version of Paula from Earthbound, but she's the only character I'm currently interested (except for Sailor Moon) in seeing with that gimmick right now.
