Jul. 19th, 2011 06:39 amFinally got to battle Spencer at the Battle Palace yesterday. This is the first time I was ever able to face any of the Frontier Brains besides Lucy or Noland, and I even beat him the very first try!

Had a look at Spencer's second team on Bulbapedia, and in preparation, I've decided to take out Corsola and Swellow. Taught them HMs Surf and Fly respectively, updated the Emerald list, and then challenged most of Hoenn's Gym Leaders to rematches. Not that many regular trainers seem to want a rematch, though, and given that I haven't even gotten those two Pokemon past level 40 yet, there's a good chance I might put them back inside Lanette's PC for a while after one more rematch (against Juan; not gonna fight Wattson with them) and then come back to the mainland to level them up some more if I ever clear a record of nine rounds in the Palace.
