Oct. 9th, 2011 06:48 amShould've mentioned this yesterday, but the previous afternoon, Mom had a pizza coupon from either Yankee Trader or Pennysaver. With that, she was able to order a pepperoni pizza with baked ziti, garlic knots, and salad. Before we went over to pick it all up, we had to drive with Dad over to Firestone, where he was having the tires replaced on his van.
Even though we've had four bottles of soda from Borders for a month now, Dad had wine because he doesn't drink soda. Mom only wanted one, so I brought up three, the other two for myself in case I run out of one bottle.

Now that I think of it, someone who worked on a commission for Parasitic Trio not too long ago (which I cancelled midway) had a gif of Ayu Tsukimiya thrashing about in the movie theater as their icon. Would have been a good time to mention that I'm also a fan of Kanon.

Yesterday, I was collecting some kind of data off of Bulbapedia, and Mom called me to ask if Dad was available. He was, but I told her that he wasn't. She even asked me if the van was there (I told her no), if it was in the backyard (checked, but told her no), and asked me to give him a shout (told her that he wasn't here).
Not long afterwards, he came in, and I jokingly greeted him with "Welcome home!" (Normally, I actually say "Hi, Dad!") I told him that Mom called for him, and after he got on the phone with her, told her that he was here the whole time, and then got mad at me and then gave the phone to me. I explained that every time I bring the phone to him, he takes it as a cue to come inside and take the computer over. (What I was doing involved opening new tabs, which is more convenient to do there than on the laptop.) She told me not to do that again.
