Went for a walk with Mom around Yaphank. She parked the car at the Pumpkin Patch stand, and we walked down the road, past a playground, down to the following intersection, and then left to Lily Lake. We stopped there momentarily because Mom had to type up a text message, and then she told me that to go in a full circle would be a lot more effort than to just go back. I decided I was up for it as long as we were away from home, and we continued. Left at the following intersection by the gun shop, past the fire department goods store, past the church where we used to go to summer camp, past the fire department itself, past Yaphank Lake, through Gordon Heights, and then we completed the full circle back at the Pumpkin Patch.

We decided to drive around to see how long we had walked. 3.2 miles.
