Jan. 9th, 2012 06:53 amForgot to mention, but I actually had started reading Kanji in Context two days ago. Managed to complete my first exercise just yesterday.

Dad pulled a dead branch off of one of our trees using a rope attached to the van. Some water dripped out of where the branch was pulled off. Gonna have to cut it up over the week.

Two days ago, someone completed a pic of Ellen as she'll appear towards the end of Parasitic Trio. Subtracting what I had already paid for it, the pic costed 250 more points. I had 227 points in my regular account, 21 more points in my spare account, and had to collect two more through llama badges. That goes to show how much miniscule things could add up and save you money; if it weren't for all those points I had saved up (especially in my other account), I would have ended up paying yet another $5 on top of what I already spend.

(Her dress and shoes are actually supposed to be blue, but the artist told me that the reference pic I showed her actually came out purple on her laptop. Oh well.)
Also got a pic of Miyuki Takara w/ her hair updone. Not really my favorite pic, but it only costed 12 points, which I had paid beforehand.

This will probably be the last Lucky Star commission that I ask for for a while. If I decide to continue working on the spritesheet at some point, I might continue asking for more after it gets done. For now, though, my focus is on Kanon, Grandia III, the Beehive Brigade, and my standalone OCs Sarah and Hoshi.

Last night, I signed onto both MSN and AIM, and had a brief chat with Jake and Martin simultaneously. While I was chatting with them, someone whose name I forgot to ask greeted me through AIM. We spoke a little bit about my artwork (especially May's pic, which he favorited) and Parasitic Trio, and I emailed him a copy of the ficseries outline.
