Triple-cue!
Feb. 19th, 2012 06:31 amPlayed three rounds of Getter Love!! yesterday morning. Lost the first two rounds. On the third round, Daisuke took only three days to foster one hell of a relationship with Ayumi, enough that she'd invite him to her house on just the third night! Meanwhile, I was barely able to get a date with anyone, even less than Chikashi or Sesshuu, and I decided that it's already a losing round, and simply shut the game off.
Read the remaining few chapters of How to Make Friends and Influence People in the Digital Age afterwards. Checked my DeviantArt messages after that, and it turns out Chelle had found something worth submitting to The Beehive only four minutes earlier. Submitted it, and then used all three of those things as a cue to ask her if she had made any progress modding some images that I asked her to modify a week or two ago. (Was originally planning to contact her this morning or tomorrow.)
Turns out that she didn't even get started yet, but the reasons are understandable. Right now, she says she'd rather write than draw, and that she's also got two commissions before me to work on. Of course, she hasn't let me down with anything before that she was capable of, so I have no reason not to trust her with it.
Anyway, the point behind having played Getter Love!! was to pass prolonged periods of time each day between checking my emails and DA messages. Given what she told me, I'm guessing it will be up to another month before Chelle starts modding the images in question, so there's not really any point playing the game anymore for the time being. Today, I'm gonna try to focus on more important things, and tomorrow, I plan to continue with Mother 3. (Still fairly early in the game, after having started over, and I would like to have that out of the way for when I finally come back to Kanji in Context.) Will probably contact Chelle again after I complete the game.
