Mar. 13th, 2012 08:42 amSeveral things I forgot to mention yesterday (thanks to that rash I've been having, which I'll mention later in this entry):
First off, I found out from here that Sailor Moon's 20th anniversary had just gone by on the 7th of this month. Upon finding that out, I immediately announced her for an extra assignment for the day in the Job Offers fanart campaign two days ago, and also un-stored this fanservice pic for the time being. (The pic will be re-stored around the end of the month, but after the JO event ends, all three pics that I've currently stored will come back out into the open.)
Furthermore, here are several recently completed beehive event pics, of the following characters:
-Tomoyo Daidouji, from Card Captor Sakura. (Didn't particularly ask for the white dress, but it does complement the hairstyle even better than her school uniform would.)
-Seira, from Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch.
-Lena Brant, from Valis IV. (Stripperific armor, so anyone with an aversion might want to avoid this pic.)
-Akiko Minase, from Kanon.
-Mai Kawasumi, from Kanon.

Yesterday will probably be the last time that I download anything onto my Pokemon games.

(Here was the first time I had ever downloaded something onto one of my Pokemon games.)
-----
Finished Unit 2 of Kanji in Context. Checked Angry Birds in Google Chrome again, and the glitch is still there even though it's been a whole week since I last checked. Normally, I would have continued waiting until our trip to Boston, but right now, this new Seasons episode called Cherry Blossoms has just been released, and Chrome is hosting another theme song remix and special background to celebrate it.
Asked Mom about the possibility of bringing our hard drive to Staples early to get looked at. Right now, she says that she and Dad still have taxes to sort through, which need to be turned in by the 15th of April, and she'd rather have our main computer available for taking care of them. While my laptop is reliable enough for the Internet, there are times when the wi-fi goes down for possibly up to an entire day, during which we can only use the Web on our main PC.
In any case, I've also felt like playing Earthbound these days. So, right now, I guess I'll have a short break from kanji, play that, and then bring it up again after I complete the game for a third time (my first time being in June 1996, coinciding right with the end of school that year; second time on November 7, 2003).

Mom scheduled a doctor's appointment for 7:45 last night, after having me try out several kinds of pills and ointments to treat my poison ivy. An assistant of Dr. Mattimoe's came to see me there, and gave us a prescription to pick up at some store not too far away from the clinic (don't remember which store it was).
While we were waiting at the store, we decided to look around for birthday cards for both Dad and Grandpa Bob. Didn't find anything for Grandpa, but I did find two for Dad that I thought were rather amusing.
Right now, my rash isn't nearly so bothersome as it had been two days ago, although my skin is still red in certain places. Hopefully, it should be completely gone by Friday, or maybe even tomorrow.
