Jun. 4th, 2012 07:45 amThe other day, Mom and I saw Mabel stalking a squirrel in the frontyard. She wasn't even a foot behind it, but then it took off through the lawn chairs, and she didn't even try to chase it.
Mom says that she was pretty pathetic there, although she most likely isn't as good a hunter as other cats, since she never got to learn from her mother when she was a kitten.

Yesterday, Dad had me start digging a pit in the sideyard, where he plans on planting some new, healthier grass. Gonna be at least a few days to finish that job, and I'm fully expecting payment when I'm done, in return for setting my writing time aside for stuff that he wants done.
