Yesterday, I was walking around outside, and I made a short dash almost near Long Island Avenue. This dog that someone's been walking everyday recently was startled, and the person walking it greeted me and told me that she's actually pretty friendly (despite being a rottweiler). I was standing about 15 feet away from the road when they were at the end of the driveway, but came over to pet her. The man told me that her name was Angel, that his own name was Julian, and that he's been living with his son Claude just a few houses down. I told him that we used to own a dog named Lucy (a Labrador retriever, to be exact).
