Nov. 5th, 2012 04:49 amYeah... According to Mom and Dad, they only managed to put the funnel into the generator's gas tank without even pouring any gas when they heard the air compressor go off inside the garage. I was inside the house, though, so the first thing I saw come back on was one of their bedroom lights.
Should mention that Mom told me that we might have another hurricane soon, though it shouldn't be so bad as the one we've just had.

Managed to play Earthbound for a little bit while waiting for the air outside to warm up and to ask Dad about lifting that tree trunk onto one of our sawhorses. Beat the Department Store Spook, but that was it afterwards. Spent half the entire day cutting the trunk into segments light enough to be bodily carried to the pile.
Some point after noon, I tried cutting the root end off, managed to cut more than halfway through, but failed no matter what angle I cut at. Tried knocking it the rest of the way off with the sledgehammer, but even that didn't work. Managed to carry it to the pile anyway, which means I wasted my time even trying to cut the end off. Upon bringing the sawhorses back, Dad asked me about it, and said that maybe the reason the saw wasn't cutting anymore was because my arm was tired.
From then on, I didn't feel like doing much of anything besides checking my messages and chatting on MSN. Only John was available, and we only talked briefly. Mom tried out her new sandwich press to cook several two-inch steaks, but I only bothered having half of one. Went to bed not even half past six, though I did get up at midnight to check my messages, and was able to use all of fifty minutes to type up a response to something from Chelle regarding Starbound.
