Dec. 20th, 2012 04:57 amStarted playing Wonder Project J2 yesterday. Been meaning to play that for five whole years now, and since it was in Nintendo Power that I discovered it in (volumes 93 and 94, to be exact), this month is a better time than any to play it all the way through once and for all. However many days it takes to complete the game will determine how many kanji lessons I'll do after beat Mother 3.
Yeah... Normally, this would be the time that I finally play that, like I've been talking about. Just showed Chelle the revised first chapter for Starbound several days ago, and she said she'd read it over in a while. I would prefer to hear from her some time before I beat that game, so that I can post the final revision then and link to it right from the end of the entry that will mark my completion of the Earthbound trilogy.
In any case, maybe it's for the better that M3 get put off for longer still. Brian will be coming home tomorrow, and if he can get our computer to run completely smooth, that would spare me any reason to bother looking for a Macintosh-compatible GBA emulator that lets me save game files... maybe except for the fact that Dad uses our main PC a lot, whereas my laptop is free most of the time.

Mom had to bring Dad for another checkup yesterday. Coming home was a hassle for them, due to some kind of traffic pileup on the expressway (which was even on the news).

Only started playing buying scratch cards and PowerBall tickets recently, and even then, only with spare change. As of last night, though, the chosen number on the PowerBall matched the PowerBall number on my ticket. Of course, since only one of the regular numbers matched, it's only worth $4 (or $12, if the position doesn't matter), but that's still pretty lucky. Gonna tell Mom soon as she's done drying her hair.
