Jan. 12th, 2013 06:18 amWell, this past November's issue of Nintendo Power magazine arrived yesterday, and also came with a pack of AR Idol cards to use for Kid Icarus: Uprising. I'll probably keep those, in case I decide to buy a Nintendo 3DS (in which case I might also make a point of buying the game itself).
It's already been two and a half weeks since Christmas, but I guess this could be like the Extra level in World 6 of SMW2: Yoshi's Island, before playing which you have to beat the final boss and watch the ending. Slightly anticlimactic, but no big deal.
Good, too, that Nintendo Power took care to commemorate Mega Man's 25th anniversary. Only spent two pages to look at eight games from early in the franchise, but that's sure better than nothing. Especially when the closest thing Capcom has currently shown any signs of working on to another MM game is Project X Zone (released in Japan last October), a Super Smash Bros. knockoff starring characters by Capcom, Sega, and Namco. (I am also aware of these new/upcoming crossover comics of Sonic the Hedgehog and Mega Man, but Archie Comics is more directly behind those.)
