Jan. 19th, 2013 08:51 amFelt like watching some anime two days ago. Managed to insert Angel's Tail, disk 1, into our regular DVD player, but the DVD screen didn't show up. Fucked around with the jacks in the back of the TV, thinking I'd be able to simply plug those for the DVD player in where those for Roku were. Failed, and still couldn't watch anything on the main DVD player, and also lost the cable on Mom and Dad, although Roku was still watchable.
Dad then lectured me about messing with his stuff, and how I need to make a diagram before I take anything apart, after he asked me what I was doing and if there was a problem.
Hooked up my own DVD player, and managed to watch episode 4 of Angel's Tail and episode 5 of Air.
Later on, before we went to the gym, Mom and Dad tried to fix it, but still failed. Dad, already upset about other things, got mad at me about what I had done earlier on.
Yesterday morning, I hooked up my DVD player again, but its display was messed up. I did manage to watch another episode of Air on the regular player.

Last night, Mom and Dad were watching this old black-and-white movie on Roku, called Paper Moon, which they (and possibly Marie) had also watched during Thanksgiving weekend last year. I didn't watch it with them that time or this time, but I do recall one of the main characters demanding her $200 from someone she's talking to.
What's funny, is that the first time they watched it was only nights after I first conceived what I would eventually call Starbound. And to think, the first chapter for that fic had finally been finished and uploaded online since only more than a week ago.
