Feb. 10th, 2013 06:43 amEven with a snowblower, cleaning up the driveway is still a lot of work. Said machine only halves the amount to be done. Mom and I had to shovel everything packed down on the bottom that the snowblower couldn't get, and I was also in charge of breaking some of the harder stuff in general up.
Dad also took me to his workshop to clean the driveway off there. On the way home, we also noticed some old lady struggling to clear the snow off of her own driveway, and stopped to help her out. Thankfully, all that was left was at the edge of the driveway She said that she was about to give up, in which case the remaining snow would have frozen overnight, and she'd really be screwed. She offered us some money in exchange; Dad declined, but I gladly accepted $20 as a tip (as Dad said I would be getting, as opposed to actual payment).
