May. 2nd, 2013 06:24 amMom and Dad paid us a brief visit, and brought me some stuff for my extended visit here. Among them was that copy of Mother: The Original Story that I bought on Amazon. I'll probably get started with translating that tomorrow; today, I got some stuff in the Chip-chan Kick manual to take care of that I promised to Lance.
Having had a look at it, the whole thing is 375 pages long, minus four which are blank. I've still got a total of twenty Mega Man games I intend to play (along with plenty of other viable games after I play all of them), and rounding that number to the nearest hundred, 20 is the square root of 400, so roughly every 20 pages will be the interval that I have a break and play the next MM game in line. The first chapter alone is 17 pages long, so I'll be sure to get as much of that done as possible over the extra week that I'm here for, and then play Rock Man 7 between that and the next chapter.

Yesterday was Adam's birthday, and Robby and I went to pick out a card each, before picking him up from Aunt Dawn's house. I got a Family Guy card where Stewie asks "What can we say that hasn't been said about birthdays," and on the inside it says "It turns out, nothing at all! So, let's just wrap this up." Robby got a "redneck vocabulary" one featuring an overall-clad squirrel and a paper wheel with different words and how they'd be used in sentences ( Read more... ). Inside, it says "Hope you have the bass birthday ever."
