Ate lunch at Moe's Southwestern Grill with Brian and Marie yesterday.

On the way there, we saw a trio of turkeys right before passing Yaphank Lake. We also reminisced about the old days of that general area, when there used to be a pizza place next to Mill Deli, and when this bar called Mill House Inn used to be called Time Out. There's also this church that we pass on the way to the library, which I used to call "the monkey house" when I was little, because I used to think monkeys would come out if you opened the door to it. Also used to think that one of the two dog demons from Ghostbusters resided inside this giant golf ball that used to be on this golf course, and would come out if it was broken. Marie asked why I used to think that, and I told her that I used to be a Cloudcuckoolander back then.

Talked about all kinds of stuff on the way there, while eating there, and coming back home. Towards the end of the ride there, I brought part of something up with Brian that I think about everyday but can't place a finger on.

The example that I started with, was that on my first of three days at the Community Enterprises day program, everyone there was talking about shows they used to watch, such as The Simpsons, Rocko's Modern Life, The Adventures of Pete & Pete, and Family Guy. Since none of those shows are anime, I got this feeling that it would make any anime suggestions I bring up on movie day that much more unique, even though this wasn't going to be anything long-term like this blog or my relations with Jake and Chelle (even if it was more worthwhile to continue with than it turned out).

After I got the point across, Brian specified the concept in general as individuation, and said that he always enjoyed it even as a kid.

(There's more to the whole thing, but there's one part of it figured out now. Will mention more of it when I've got my thoughts together on anything or have any good examples to cite.)
