(no subject)

Brian had his old ex-girlfriend Talia over yesterday evening. The two of them played some MP3s of his from his laptop while I was making dinner for myself, but then went to sit out in the frontyard while I was actually eating. I turned the music off while they were outside.

Played Candy Crush for a bit after having dinner and dessert, and then came out and noticed them watching an episode of Trigun. I joined them, but shortly afterwards, they went into the kitchen to each grab a beer. I went into my room to get a few of my own anime to suggest, but when I came out, they were already browsing Netflix for other (non-anime) stuff to watch.

We did talk a little bit about anime, though. Turns out that the two of them only decided to watch that show because they both liked it back when he was much more into anime than nowadays. He also asked me if I ever watched Dragon Ball Z with him and Cousin David down in Virginia. I never did, but I do remember watching episodes of that show whenever he happened to be watching it on Toonami, back when we were both in high school. He told me he remembers watching fifteen episodes of the main characters preparing a Spirit Bomb, and just lost interest in the show afterwards.
