Dec. 11th, 2013 06:08 amToday will probably be the day I finally get started with The Japanese Stage-Step Course. Been finding myself spending a lot more time these days playing Candy Crush than writing. I must not up to writing anything for the time being, and besides which, I got as far as I intend to go for now with Rokuna's fic. Will continue later.
Speaking of Candy Crush, level 342 will probably be the only level for which I buy boosters. Normally, I don't because it makes things less challenging. More than a week ago, Mom's been stuck on a level which requires you to create striped candies to clear jelly on an otherwise inaccessible part of the board. With this level, though, the key to winning is to save as many Jelly Fish as possible for until you clear three jellies behind caged candies, and then use them to clear two jellies that appear behind random five-layer meringues each game. They're too easy to use up too early on, and there are fifteen meringues to clear out, checkered at the bottom half of the board with holes. Clearly, even creating striped and wrapped candies, already tricky on its own, would still be insufficient to clear the stage.
If Mom ever reaches that level and asks me to clear it, I'll probably invest in some stuff, and pay her back afterwards.
