Jan. 3rd, 2014 05:34 amReceived volume 9 of the Lucky Star manga in the mail yesterday. Mom bought that and 10 as an intended Christmas gift for me this year, but did tell me that they'd be late, since they were coming from Japan. (Already got 10 this past New Year's Eve.)
Gonna start translating them after I finish The Japanese Stage-Step Course, whenever I get back to that.

Tried my hand yesterday at creating some mugshots for each character from Lucky Star. Decided that, since Brian is still unavailable to help me (and hadn't shown up even for last night's gmail meeting, probably to unwind from traveling to Virginia), I might as well do something that will contribute to the Starbound game.
For the record, the programming aspect is still more important than designing things. I could commission someone for any kind of graphics, expensive as it may be, but I myself need to be in charge of making sure everything works the way I intend it to.
Most likely, I'm just gonna try these next couple of days creating some basic mugshots for everyone, and then let Chelle create modified versions of each of them while I (hopefully) get back to learning JavaScript. Compared to stuff she's photoshopped for me before, these should hopefully be easier for her to work with, since they will be more pixelated once I scale them down.
