He's posted a new story, but lacks any real interest in re-uploading his old ones even though I did send him copies of what pricykoopa had to share with me. (He even did ask for them back a few weeks ago, before realizing I already had sent them to him.)

For the record, he did give me permission to host his old works, but I'm not sure if I want to do that. I did give mariofan48 permission to do so, but really, it would be nicer to see them coexisting with his new fanfic, Cries Unheard. But then again, he also had one Pokemon fic which more than likely never will anyway, so there is that.
Still, I think it would seem awkward for the four salvaged fics to be archived with my own fanfics, most of which were written by myself in my own style (save for Parasitic Trio). Doesn't help that I actually didn't like Bonds by the time that one ended, and only kept up with it to see what kinds of repercussions authorities would face for their blatant incompetence once things settled down. Besides, it's not like I actually intended to rehost Eggman's New Invention when I got a copy of that from Martin late in 2006. However, AeroGreymon8.0 did say that he was rather self-conscious of that one, and given how much bigger a deal these fics were, in terms of both volume and popularity, I might decide at some point to host them after all if MF48 decides not to or doesn't get back to me, in which case I will mention clearly that they were not my own fanfics.
One thing that does help the case for re-hosting them is a series of alternate endings for Broken Dreams, written to showcase any number of ways antagonist Koichi Shido could have died much more dramatically than having his car totaled and being shot once in the head afterwards. So far, only one has actually been written, a whole year ago no less, but here you go:
