Jul. 16th, 2014 06:01 amRan a whole bunch of errands with Mom yesterday, in an attempt to clear my head enough to work on Cult. Didn't work, but here's the lowdown:
That DVD set of Avatar: The Last Airbender: Book 2: Earth had been due for one day, and I also had $1.60 in fines to pay. All four individual volumes of Book 3: Fire are due, but were not actually in yet.
Also had a bunch of recycling to deposit at King Kullen while Mom did some food shopping.
Went home to drop the food off that Mom bought. Waited about half an hour, before the two of us went for haircuts. She went to Francesca's, but dropped me off across the street to get mine at Andrew's down the street. Got it, and then made my way over to Francesca's.
Until then, she and I had been discussing the idea of eating lunch together somewhere. I spotted an oriental restaurant just shortly before Francesca's, and suggested we go there to eat.
Upon arriving where she was, Mom said something about lunch, and Francesca recommended this oriental buffet called Golden Buffet, located in Centerreach. The two of us went there and got a bunch of stuff. Somehow, the sushi wasn't as good as when I got some two times last year. The whole thing left me full enough that I could count it as lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, and dessert.
And finally, we made a stop at the bank, where I deposited a total of $27.66.

Hot, muggy days like these just aren't the best to seriously think about how I'm gonna write something. I still want to Return to Myself and spend some time with Mon Colle Knights, but like with May's first Parasitic Trio chapter two years ago, that's probably gonna have to wait a short while. Same deal with Starbound, even though I vaguely know most of what's going to happen in the chapters immediately to come.
Meanwhile, I am somewhat inclined to work a little more on the second sumo chapter, even though I was hoping to leave some length of time between each update for that. With things the way they are, I guess I might as well focus on that anyway.

Cries Unheard has finally been updated last night, a whole week since it last was. Bloodscorpion4ever, however, does not seem interested in responding to my apology to him.
I know I shouldn't expect a response from someone to something like that, but read the first item on the following list:

I just tried to make things right between me and him, assuming that the outcome could only be good by me owning up for my errors (even though fanfiction.net explicitly advises its authors to welcome critique), and it's like he just can't let what I said last week go.
What confuses me even more is that, prior to him snapping, he did express appreciation for that list I wrote here, especially that two of the works listed were his. We also had several lively discussions about his stories before his first account was hacked.
I could understand Chelle ignoring an immediate apology from me for having shared something squicky with her once or twice, but I wrote what I wrote to BS4E a whole two days after he blew up on me, and it was a lot more than just "Sorry."
Not that I intend to burn bridges with him, but frankly, I'm starting not to like him personally. Of course, I still enjoy his stories, and there's no telling when I'm gonna have actual questions about stuff that actually gets covered, like I did about Koichi's underwhelming death in Broken Dreams and how authorities get away with a lack of proper action in Bonds.
Really, I don't know what to make of this.
