Jan. 19th, 2015 05:37 amMom dropped me off at the gym yesterday while running some errands. I called her cell after finishing up, and she brought me to this kitchen store where she needed to pick up a windup timer for Dad. (Our microwave timer only sounds off once upon running out.)
During our time there, I noticed these two funny brands of hot sauce and a tin of "Seasoning from HELL". One brand of hot sauce was called "Ass Kickin'", depicted a donkey kicking back with both hind feet, and had the tagline "Kick yo' ass hot!". The other brand was called "Dumb Ass" with a horseshoe for the "U", and depicted a donkey with a lone buck tooth and a funny facial expression. And the seasoning tin had a picture of the devil and a tagline saying "Beyond hot".
We got a bottle of Sriracha Ass Kickin' for Dad, now that he's started learning how to make stuff for dinner. As for a timer, Mom bought two consecutively, and neither worked, so I'm gonna have to see if there's anything online for such a purpose as we need.

Mom had me open this Edward Gorey puzzle yesterday afternoon, and asked me to sort all the edge-pieces aside. She wants me to help her put it together, because it's more fun as a form of bonding than to be doing it all by herself.
