Mar. 7th, 2015 05:39 pmWent with Mom to run some errands this morning, mainly to eat lunch out somewhere.
Initially, she told me she just had to go to Costco for a prescription, but we ended up going to the outlets in Riverhead first. She did some shopping in Ulta as soon as it opened, and I bought myself a Marilyn Monroe, a few chocolate chip cookies, and a vanilla Nesquik at Bagel Lovers. That all costed $9.51; the sandwich alone costed around $6 of that amount.
I was halfway through my cookies when Mom finished up and rang my cell phone. Went to Costco, and I realized there that waiting to eat there might've been a better idea, since most main courses at its eatery are half the price of any sandwich at BL, and since we're gonna be going back to the outlets sometime this coming week while Mom has off from work.
Mom did have me pick a few things up while she awaited her prescription, so there's that, but the rest of the time, I was just walking along with her while she got other stuff.
As to whether or not I should've even gone out with her in the first place, when I've got stuff that needs taking care of. Before we went out, I finally managed to answer a question by Chelle under a still-recent entry, and to check out another video clip that Trina had sent me on the 24th last month. Coming home, I really needed a nap, and even after waking up, still felt more like pacing around just to clear my head while I still had everything I'm writing right now on my mind.
Still, while I am capable of making tuna or a burger, this was an opportunity to get myself something special as long as Mom was going out somewhere. Plus, I managed to swipe a whole bag of recyclables that the deposit machines wouldn't take while Mom was checking her stuff out, although most of them were water bottles from BJ's (might need to go there briefly if I can't deposit them at King Kullen).
I'll admit that it's been a whole three weeks since I last played a lotto game. The first two of those were no-game weeks (landed an 8), and this past week, we hadn't gone anywhere without also going to the gym.
In fact, it's only occurred to me now, but I'm actually considering walking down to this 7-Eleven that opened up near Horseblock Road a while ago, and seeing if they do lotto. If they do, I might just go down there at around this time of day, when I'm past my prime for getting stuff done and it's too late in the day to play a round of Kiratto Kaiketsu (which can take up to around five hours to complete), and provided that I actually got anything done and am not playing Getter Love!! either at that time. Today and tomorrow are no good anyway, though, because I've got barely enough money left over for lunch when we go out to go clothes- and sneaker-shopping. (Two bags of recycling, yeah, but I'm not sure if we'll be going to deposit those beforehand or afterwards.)
