Apr. 29th, 2015 07:06 pmOrdered an Austrailian DVD set of Lucky Star on Ebay yesterday. Right now, there are no complete recordings of the show on YouTube anymore, and I can't rely on there being one when I decide to commission for voice acting again.
It only occurred to me afterwards that I could have arranged a trip to the mall (where I also plan on buying Senran Kagura, something Jake suggested) with Mom to find it, instead of waiting for it to come all the way here (not to mention how much cash I have in my wallet right now). Thankfully, that was right afterward, and I did find the option to request a cancellation, but even after contacting the seller directly this morning, I still have yet to hear back. Maybe they're busy and will get around to me, but if they ship it out anyway, I'm gonna have to leave some neutral feedback for ignoring me while still fulfilling my order. (I already marked it on one of my index cards, so the space for that isn't coming back either way.)
Furthermore, I waited days before making my purchase, while watching a different auction on which I was outbid and thus ditched. How did it take so damn long for me to realize any of my better options?
(I did see if it was available at my library or any that it can borrow from. Only volume 1 is, so at least this wasn't a total waste.)

Today might just be my last day playing Candy Crush Saga for now. Would like to get back into spritesheets starting tomorrow, but there are some issues I'd like to address.
First of all, what I'm particularly interested in right now, is making swimsuit sprites of other canon characters besides the main four, based on certain different images. (Mainly for author appeal, though they will be in the game code.)
Anyway, spriting tends to get tedious, and while I'm at it, I'm more than likely gonna crave other stuff like mugshots and voice-acting. Still need to get certain things in order before I commission again for that latter thing; former won't be such a big deal. (Certain character pics I've commissioned Chelle for would also help, even though I technically could create OC sprites without them.)
While writing this, I suppose that doing just that is what I really feel the need to do to motivate myself tomorrow.
