Jul. 5th, 2015 06:18 amBeat Dragon Warrior II yesterday. And those final bosses sure took a day and a half worth of level-grinding to beat. Invited Mom to come watch, and she asked me what happens if I say no when offered the position as King of Midenhall. (Will probably have to look that up on YouTube or something.)
Already had a sneak peek at III, and that looks like the game that really inspired the Earthbound trilogy, if its list of items are anything to go by. For example, there are seeds that slightly increase a given stat of one character (exactly what capsules do in Earthbound and Earthbound Zero), two different attack items (even though EB0 had quite an assortment, albeit still less than its sequels', DW2 didn't have any), and more herbs than for treating just damage and poison.
