Mom drove me to the beach yesterday afternoon, but we went in only shin-deep due to a leg cramp I've been having since at least the day before.

Coming home, traffic was backed up due to a train that took more than a few minutes to pass by. We tried taking a detour partway through, but it didn't pan out, and by the time we got back, the road was already cleared up.
