Oct. 31st, 2015 07:03 amMom had been resting these past few days ever since she pulled that muscle. She's been getting better each day, enough yesterday to take me shopping for food to have over the weekend while she and Dad visit Grandma Ella, but she's still gonna have to take it easy while they're down there.
I also received a Playstation Portable that Mom was originally hoping to get me for Christmas. She was hoping she'd be home to receive it, but Dad was the one who answered the door for it before asking me if I ordered anything from GameStop.com. I put it in Marie's room for the time, but yesterday before we went out, she just handed it over to me to play over the weekend. I told her that I've already got plans for the weekend, which include testing a new plug I ordered for that Playstation 2 (the one that came with it is defective) and just playing Snowboard Kids Plus from there. She did say that the surprise is already ruined either way, so she'll be sure to get something else for me.
Finally got around to watching The Legend of Korra: Book Four: Balance a few days ago, and finished it up just last night. Now I can just take it back when I go to the library for a job interview, after having accumulated a fine for $7 before I even received a second of two due-notices (the first one came before the original due date), and I can hook up that PS2 without having to switch back to my DVD player.
