Nov. 22nd, 2015 04:48 amNoticed a stray black kitten near the wire-mesh section of the fence separating our yard from the Bernackis' yesterday morning, trying to climb either over or under to meet its mother. It hissed and swiped at me (didn't actually connect) as I tried to pick it up, and both it and its mother (dark gray with some black) hissed when I actually got a hold of it. Put it down immediately.
Told Mom when I went back inside, and she asked me if I tried putting it over the fence. Guess I should do that if the situation ever repeats itself, now that she mentioned it.
She also told me about having told Dad right beforehand that she hadn't seen any stray cats at all lately.

Ran a few errands later in the morning. Went to the library so that Mom could pick a few things up. I looked around for some anime (previously compiled in its own mini-section at the shopping center library), and came across volumes 2 and 3 of Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Marie and I have already agreed to watch that together, so that's only four episodes left that I'll have to watch on my computer (unless we decide to watch either of the film adaptations instead).
Went to Walmart next, and I took care of some recycling there while Mom shopped around. That store has a machine that accepts both cans and plastic bottles. More environmentally friendly to get one ticket for both kinds, but we don't go there that often, and I did leave home a few bottles that can only go to Stop 'n' Shop, so I'll combine those into my next load.

It took only yesterday to complete chapter 4 of Dragon Slayer: The Legend of Heroes, after having completed 3 the previous night. After a few failed attempts against Drax, I took out one of his sentries with a blast dart and a basic attack, used an evil eye I got from Oasis on Drax himself, used a potion (also from Oasis) while working on his other sentry, and then took Drax himself out in one severe blow. Just barely managed to defeat Damius afterwards with only Sonia and Giles still alive and both confused.
