Dec. 7th, 2015 05:30 amGrandma had all her friends over from the Brit club yesterday at two, and along with certain things that Mom and maybe Aunt Marie and Grandma provided themselves, some of them brought other stuff to add for a feast for the occasion. I normally eat lunch at ten in the morning, but was held over long enough until then with a bagel that Mom toasted for me earlier on.

Been keeping Mabel inside the bedroom where I've been sleeping. Normally, I keep the door shut so that none of Grandma's cats or dogs can enter and upset her, but last night, I accidentally left the door open, and she wandered out into the hallway separating Grandma's side of the house from Aunt Marie and Uncle Ray's (before returning later). Mom was in Marie's kitchen talking with everyone else, and I called over to her from where Mabel was to ask what I should do. She suggested I leave her be, and also commented offhand how brave it was of her to explore such an unfamiliar household with as many as six pets in total as here.

Got some ideas for another Starbound one-off, showcasing what could have been if Minami in fact was able to come to Rokuna's house upon invitation by her friends. Mentioning that here, because Chelle did already say that she needs a break from owing people anything, and this seems like the best place to mention it where at least I'll still remember the concept itself. So far, I did list a bunch of actual ideas in my notebook at around midnight just hours ago, but whenever she's ready to discuss fanfiction ideas again, I could use some ideas for how to flesh out Rokuna's friends even more with this opportunity, along with Mondo's preteen brothers, Ryota and Atomu, and their mother, Kazumi (from a scene enacted for Day of the Beehive, covering an offpage visit to his house).
(Speaking of Chelle, I did mention while commenting on an f-locked entry, "once you either show me the clean sketch or finish the pic altogether." Cutting to the chase, what I meant by that was that, while I would still prefer she show me the clean sketch for further critique while there's still time, I would understand if she'd rather just proceed with the lineart instead of risking another long, unwanted discussion about this and that like just more than a month ago. This was after she already accepted an apology I posted on Tumblr; just felt the need to clear it up just in case.)
