Dec. 22nd, 2015 05:16 amThe other day at Stop 'n' Shop, I tried out some free samples of salami and this other meat called soppresata. I liked the latter in particular enough that Mom and I had planned on making a puff pastry containing some to bring to New Jersey. We had also planned on making some for ourselves as a test, and finally got around to that for lunch just yesterday.

Dad watched some Betty Boop cartoon yesterday on YouTube, and Mom came in to watch part of it.
Later on as a joke, since it also dates back to the early 20th century and has a similar art style, I asked both of them if they wanted to see something similar from Japan. Dad declined, but Mom joined me for the first few minutes of this one-shot anime called Suteneko Tora-chan (Abandoned Little Cat Tora) from 1947. She suggested I share it with her, Brian, and Marie through Facebook. (I also got a notification this morning from ten last night, saying that Erin Hatch had commented to wish me a Merry Christmas.)
