Turned out that Marie had bought red and gold balloons to blow up and hang around the chandelier. I wasn't paying attention when she bought them, and decided to just go to bed when we got home even as Marie begged me to join her, so it was only after writing up yesterday's entry that I discovered that.

Everyone else took another hour and a half to wake up while I sat down in the living room after writing up said entry. I did walk into Marie's room just moments after Mom and Dad woke up, and climbed on top of her to wake her up.

Got sweets and money aplenty from my stocking and certain presents. Not counting whatever I might get in New Jersey, I now have over $400 in cash, which should help me break even with what I spent on that pic and fund the next one.

Got my PSP, but currently have no desire to play anything on it. Brian got me this book called Limbo, which he says is basically the king of ironic distance. And, I finally have volume 2 of Puella Magi Tart Magica and v. 1 and 2 of Suzune Magica, which I now plan on reading in the car tomorrow.

On my part, I had gotten Dad an assortment of Sriracha sauces that Mom and I found at Walmart several months ago, Mom a new DVD/Blu-Ray player (since she keeps having to borrow mine), Brian a DVD set of Super Sentai: Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger, and Marie this card game called Deer In the Headlights (which Mom and I found at Savers last summer and thought was pretty funny). We should check those last two out sometime today, since Brian and Marie will be leaving on Monday.

Mom brought me, Brian, and Marie down to the beach during the afternoon, and Marie drove for her. Not so windy like last year, but it sure was foggy.

Spoke to Brian about several things, both in the car and at the beach itself. He suggested I try again with learning Javascript, citing the benefits I could reap from it, and while I would consider it, I am currently set on creating some new sprites for Day of the Beehive and writing chapter 6 of Starbound already once he and Marie leave. (The Cibus project doesn't seem likely to go anywhere right now, so I'll probably just have to force myself to read some Madoka fanfics whenever I need a break from Lucky Star until some potential does arise. Finally being able to read Suzune Magica for the first time does help, though.)
