Feb. 18th, 2016 06:50 amStarted playing Bubble Witch Saga on Facebook yesterday. Actually took some time beforehand to consider whether I really need another game to play (after having already played Freedom Planet for several straight weeks and beating it only last week) or was just inspired by commercials I recently saw at the gym for Blossom Blast Saga and Candy Crush Jelly Saga. However, even though I did promise myself to look over some of my Starbound documents, there have been numerous more important things this whole past week that I have yet to actually get around to it. (Today, I have a doctor's appointment and an exam to take at the DMV.)
Originally, after listing the number of games in all viable genres, my first choice from RandomInteger would have been this card game called Indian Rummy. Last time I got the urge to play something on Facebook, which was two months ago, the game selected was another card game called Bad Buddy, but that's when I decided instead to hook up my Nintendo 64 to play Kiratto Kaiketsu. This time, I've decided that while I'll still let all games in a given genre add to the total number of viable games, just to keep things simple, card games will be limited to solitaire, and each time I land anything else in that genre, I will click for a new number. (Having to pay money just to stay in the game when you lose all your chips, and considering how addicted I had gotten to Chinchon last summer at the exclusion of nearly everything else, that's basically an incentive to lose, and goes against the reason I even play these games in the first place.)
As far as other games go, Jake has asked me to try out this Steam game called Little Big Adventure 2. Truth be told, I can't really say it interests me in its own right, but then again, he on his part had taken to playing Freedom Planet despite his lack of actual interest in that, and it's not all the time that he asks me to check out anything.
Also owe it to elmer, in return for his participation on that forum thread, to try out Super God Trooper Zeroigar at some point, complete with his translation patch that he created and had actual translator SamIAM put up on the site (listed under the game's Japanese name, Choujin Heiki Zeroigar). I did promise to show him some potential content for Day of the Beehive once I've got any to showcase, and if I've gotten around to playing it at that point, I'll be sure to mention that upon contacting him.
