Apr. 28th, 2016 06:01 amNeed to use a breadknife from now on whenever I try to cut a narrow piece of Parmesian cheese off the rind. I'm just glad I cut my thumb in one of the better places to cut it, and only skin-deep. (Don't know how it even ended up under the knife when it slipped, though, since I'd normally use one hand to grip the handle and the other to press down from on top.)
Said thumb still aches, and I would like to grip stuff as little as possible. Obviously, I don't think I'll be going to the gym today. Not even to walk the treadmill, since I would also like to keep my bloodflow to a minimum.
