Haven't played Zelda II these past few days, even though I'm already at the Great Palace. Been busy helping Mom and Dad around the yard and running errands. We're having a brush pickup this coming week and one more two weeks from then, but Dad's been pruning so many branches that he had to take all our cans to the landfill to empty them ahead of time and make room for more.

I do intend to complete the game, though, and to play Link's Awakening through before arranging my trip to Boston. Upon completing Zelda II, if Blood doesn't get back to me beforehand regarding the last PM I've sent him, I will ask him if he'll let me post a revised version of Bonds or would rather re-post it himself as-was. Also got another job exam next month, Mom and I are planning to see Grandpa Bob in Pennsylvania the next day for Father's Day, and I suppose I should save the remainder of Limbo for around then so that I have something to read in the car.

Had lunch at this place called Cactus Cafe while Mom did some shopping at Lowes and Staples. Ordered a smoked pork enchilada and some flan, and what I got was this soupy mixture of the cheese, rice, sour cream, and some other stuff (not even including the tortilla). The kind Mom sometimes makes are like burritos, but with the ends still open, so I assumed that's what I'd be getting, but the clerk agreed to exchange it free of charge.

Flan is okay, but not something I'd order again.

The way home, Mom told me that she happened to run into Mrs. Speilberg, my one-on-one from 3rd grade (preceding Mrs. Bandows, who aided me between 4th and 8th), who told her that her cousin's daughter belongs to a job agency like DDI, and she also has another female next-gen relative who happens to be autistic. Mom told me that she expects to hear from her about said agency soon, and I would hope it's better than everything we had already tried before.

Mom gave me some scratch cards after we got home that Brian and Marie had sent Dad for his birthday. Two of them have won a combined $13, but Yahoo Answers confirms that you can only redeem winning lottery tickets in whichever state(s) host(s) the respective game. I'm gonna have to bring the two in question with me to Boston in order to redeem them, before giving Dad the payout once I'm back home, but in the meantime, I did send Brian and Marie each an email advising them only to buy Powerball or Mega Millions from now on, and even called Marie on the phone last night to mention it among other things.

Yes, I actually checked other state lotteries besides New York's, after reading someone's specified exception for multi-state games on YA. Not only are Powerball, Mega Millions, and Cash4Life all run in multiple states, but the winning numbers (I checked Powerball, at least) are all the same between states. The inability to redeem most lottery tickets out-of-state is exactly why I've never bought anything outside New York, but learning about this, I think I might stick to just bi-weekly games in such cases from now on, though still only with money I get primarily for the lottery (just like at home).
