Jun. 20th, 2016 04:08 amAmong other things, Mom and Dad have recently been watching this YouTube series called BBQ Pit Boys. For Father's Day yesterday, Mom and I made some St. Louis spare ribs, along with some stuffed potatoes like we had at Marie's for Thanksgiving 2014 and some Jalapeño cornbread. The three of us ate dinner as a family (unlike most nights, when we tend to eat individually whenever it's ready), although Grandpa was fast asleep at that time and doesn't eat beef anyway (Mom had some fish for him instead).

For dessert, Mom made a peach tart topped with blueberries. She was originally planning to make one of those for Uncle Robby and his friends, but still didn't want to waste them once they had to leave earlier than she expected.

Before we had dinner, Mom gave me a five to buy some eggs at 7-Eleven with. Also played Take 5 while I was there, for which I got 6-7-16-25-35. Those drawn last night have turned out to be 6-11-19-28-38. At first, I thought I actually won something, but it was only the first number that matched, with the remaining ones all exactly three higher (except the second; four higher).
