Jul. 2nd, 2016 06:01 amGuess I should have mentioned this the morning after, but it did come up again last night during dinner, one of the few nights that we all ate together.
A few days ago, Mom asked me to fix up some meatballs to cook for dinner, and the recipe we've got bookmarked called for parsley. Mom told me roughly where in the garden it would be, but I failed to keep track of the directions, and ended up looking it up on Google Images. Pulled up two other plants, one which had a small potato on the root, and the other with some green cherry tomatoes somewhere. I cut up the leaves on the latter of those, and Mom said it tasted pretty good but asked me to Google whether tomato leaves are poisonous.
As it turns out, they only are (supposedly, anyway) if you consume a pound and a half.
