Jul. 29th, 2016 06:30 amBusted out this coming month's hot sauce, Desert Sundance Sauce (garlic habanero), a few days early. We had already used this past month's sauce up, and Dad specifically wanted hot sauce instead of sriracha.

Had a typing test scheduled for 3:05 at the Department of Civil Services yesterday, and needed to go to the hospital so that Mom could bring me there without having to go home first. Got Dad to accompany me driving there at 10:20 so that I could eat lunch and then take a brief nap inside the car.
Mom got off at 1:15, and I suggested we drive to the Smithhaven mall so that I could buy some Madoka manga. Got Homura's Revenge! and The Different Story in their entireties, and had just enough in cash left over to buy volume 3 of Tart Magica had that been available. It was also at the mall itself (presumably in the food court) where Mom had lunch, after having already stopped at a McDonald's where the drive-thru line turned out too long.
Made it to the test building an hour early, and ended up taking the test itself just shortly thereafter. I was the only male taking the test, and scored 77 wpm with only one mistake uncorrected as I went along.

It's been too hot to write anything these days, and I might as well find something to play while riding out this summer heat.
With that, upon coming home yesterday, I decided to buy Alien Crush Returns onto my Wii, hoping to see more than I've seen on YouTube. To date, all I've seen were gameplay videos of the first four levels (the last of which the player loses on), the final boss, and a post-final-boss level. Naturally, I thought that there would be levels that weren't covered between 4 and the last boss, but as it turns out, that's all there is to the game, former DLC notwithstanding. Glad I ignored my own game-overs just to see more of the game (and since I wasn't really doing anything else at the moment).
