Aug. 15th, 2016 05:00 amWent to the Tanger outlets with Mom yesterday, and drove right to the Crocs store near the food court... or at least where said store used to be... to buy some new sandals for me and Dad. The store turned out to be closed down, but there just happened to be a drink machine right in front for me to apply a buy-10-get-1-free card that I got a while ago from MyCokeRewards. That didn't work, and at first, we thought I was doing it wrong, so I just got myself a Fanta and agreed to read the directions later on.
Went inside the food court, got myself a chicken Buffalo sandwich, and Mom came in to meet me and told me that Crocs just relocated within the same shopping center. Finished eating, went into the restroom to wash up, and decided there to read that gift card; turned out it had expired on New Year's '15, and so we discarded it.
Went to Starbucks to use up my gift card for that, which turned out only to have 17 cents left on it. I still had to pay another $4.45 for a double-chocolate frappucino, and had to pay a full five because the change I got back inside the food court wasn't enough to cover the included tax. (Guess I got what was on my card back as change to eventually go to the bank.)
Spent a good few minutes remaining inside the store to have my drink, rather than to eat it in the car, and finally came back out to head to Crocs with Mom. She had plans to get some other stuff at the outlets, but that and getting some gas at a nearby Costco store became all the shopping we did due to how busy everything turned out to be at the outlets.
