Yesterday, I managed to tie several things together without even thinking much about it. Saw Bobby leave, Karen was obviously already gone (the other car wasn't there), and I happened to have our recycling bucket sitting by the front door to be taken out. Brought that over to the fence while he was still leaving, and it only crossed my mind when I subsequently took the garbage out to bring the bucket up the apartment stairs to fill with the cans inside Bobby and Karen's bucket to put into an empty recycling can, instead of either bringing their bag down, pouring all those cans down onto the ground, or just leaving it to fill up some more.
