(no subject)

Mom and I went to Best Market two days ago, and I agreed to meet her at the car after picking a few things out. While I was waiting, someone asked me if I liked some song someone else was playing in their car. I told him I wasn't even listening. He then told me he had to use the bathroom, and also suggested we eat dinner somewhere around there, and I told him that Mom was inside Best Market, and we went in there.

I then found Mom somewhere else, and she told me that she'd rather not meet that guy, and that I can at most wave to him if I see him again.

Just last night, Mom spoke to me about my interactions with him, and said that I could be friendly with people in the parking lot, but I should not take up offers to eat together, since they could always have ulterior motives of some kind. I told her that I chose to return to Best Market, because I didn't want her wondering where I was once she left, and she commended that.
