Mom brought home a copy of Newsday's issue from March 17, 1973 yesterday. Apparently, someone at work had been keeping it and gave it to her. Gave it a read while treating my foot with a hot-water bottle, and the first few articles had to do with a train wreck and what was too little snow for people selling winter goods. Also interesting to see how much more relevant cents were back then, with said latter article mentioning how little good it would do to sell one's shirt and a snow shovel for less than a dollar.

Needless to also say, Peanuts and Doonesbury were the only comics that I am familiar with, although I do remember Mom once mentioning Apartment 3-G, which was still running but not in Newsday by that point, when we were discussing comic strips in general during dinner.

Should make a point from now on to establish contests instead of projects on Freelancer. Upwork had no such feature, so naturally, it didn't occur to me right away to try to figure out how those work.
